Madden 2010 demo

Ok - normally, IMO, the Madden footballs games don't really change much from 1 year to the next, so I usually skip a year or 2 - but I have to say, I played the demo the other day for the new one coming out next month - this will be the 1st time I go back to back w/Madden's football. The demo is short, four 1 minute quarters, Giants vs Cowboys - this editions seems to have taken a leap about 2 or 3 years into the future - animations look more realistic, the weather actually affects the players ability (had a player slip & fall making a cut while it was snowing) - graffics are sharper than ever too.

Anyone else try this ?What are your thoughts ?

I havn't tried it yet but they said it would be 4 5 minute quarters.

And it also looked like the Cardinals against the Steelers. I havn't picked the demo up yet so not sure. But this years Madden does look really great.

That's the weird part - the demo is Giants vs Cowboys, even though it Steelers & Cardinals on the cover. And if you pre-order, you get access to 4-5 minute quarters, otherwise the regular demo is only 4-1 min qtrs

Madden 10 doesn't look to impress me, like all other madden games after '03.

I really liked last year's Madden and they built a new Engine for this Madden and it looks REALLY good so far.

You really should try the demo - like I said, this one seems to have pushed the envelope and is so much better that any other Madden in the past. Players seem to have a more 'natural' reaction to slipping, loosing balance, getting hit, etc, etc - I can't wait. Pre-ordered my copy last night and got a code to unlock the 4-5 min qtrs between the Steelers & Cardinals, but haven't had a chance to try it out yet. Will definitly try it out tonight.

Well, I didn't go to the midnight release, but was at the store @ 8:00 this morning - apparently there were less than 10 people that went at midnight from what my buddy who is the manager there told me.

Managed to slip 1 game in before I had to go to work - def the best Madden yet IMO !!!

Yea...it is a good Madden but it did leave a few things out that made some old Madden games a little funner but definately best Madden yet.

I didn't get a chance to get too deep into it, barely squeezed the 1 game in before I was late for work. WIll be playing tonight and will definitly check out more of the features. 40 more minutes before I'm outta here !!!

I did, it still didn't impress me. I can't wait until EA's copyright is up, and other companies can use the NFL.

To each their own - at least you gave it a try which I can respect - now if I could get my kid to try new food before she says she doesn't like it I'd be all set.

Well with 2Ks All Pro game...I won't be going back to them lol.
