Thoughts on PlayStation Home

I read the news on this site about the e3 press conference being streamed in pshome, and I think this is what home should be doing more of. Now, I live in the UK and I don't think the EU home is quite the same as the US one. I think it needs to be more interactive and more innovative. I dunno quite how to put it really but I hope you get the general gist of what I'm getting at I would also like it to have more relations with your PSN account like the trophy feature in one of the demonstrations before it came out. Like I said I have the EU home so I don't know what exact features the US one has but yeah. What do you guys think about it?

I totally agree. The last time I went into Home, was.....I have no idea but it has been a while. If Sony would find some way to relevantly integrate Home with the PS3 (like what you suggested) and more, I believe Home would be a lot better than what it is right now.

one of the first things they advertised in home was a trophy room where you could see your actual trophies being displayed. if they came through on that promise, home would be considerably cooler.

I guess sony arent putting more of their resources in to HOME. Its been a while i have gone online on HOME ..... but all the hype back in 2008 wasnt worth to be honest.

I never really liked it that much.

I havn't been to HOME in about 5 months but it is alright and they need to add a lot to it.

Went on it about a month ago and they have this thing called XI (eleven) and its like an interactive game where you collect loads of clues from websites they give you/blogs or just in the XI space to unlock things. It's a pretty decent idea actually, and if I didn't buy FF7 that same day, I probably would've spent longer on it.

i mean its just that they reduced the priority of HOME ! I mean HOME was so big e3 2007 and than all the hype just withered after that!

The hype withered away because everyone got to come in and do it on the beta and saw then that you just talked. There wasn't really any games besies like bowling.

HOME was cool until guys started coming up on me and doing the running man. Get the mental image and you'll know what I'm talking about. Probably some sick little 10 year olds.

I dont know cuase my online doesnt work alot, but i had alot of fun in home, i got to invite one of my friends over my house and we just chatted for like a good 10 minutes, we went to play so bowling and poker which are pretty fun, and then i launched a Warhawk game so we instantly played, ahhhh i can pretty much say i love home

I liked home when it was in a closed beta. I liked it because I knew what to expect out of it and no one else did their research and expected it to be different.

all the haaaa-huuuu abt game developers making it a more 2nd life has gone for a toss!

I've been on it twice since I got it, all i've done is walk around and redecorate my apartment with new wallpaper. xD

I'ts ok... there's not much incentive to go back, though.

They need more free stuff I mean come on I got to pay 2 bucks for a virtul t shirt
