Valve Has "A Plan" For Left 4 Dead 1

Lombardi explained that most of the confusion comes from E3 - "You go to that show to announce new products; you don't go to that show to announce DLC or updates or anything like that. [...] In announcing Left 4 Dead 2 in no means were we trying to signal that Left 4 Dead 1 was part of our history."

"We have a plan for ongoing support, there's new content coming that we're going to be announcing. We just put out matchmaking stuff for the mod content that's coming out on the PC side, we did the Survival Pack that was in April - we managed to get that out on 360 for free as well which we thought was a pretty cool achievement," elaborated Lombardi.

"The other side [of the controversy] is that we haven't shown or talked about everything that's in Left 4 Dead 2. So if they judged it solely on the E3 demo they probably have a different opinion than if you saw the full plan. [...] When the game comes out there should be some surprises in there that we kept a secret during the campaign."

See? Everyone was freaking out about Valve becoming EA, which will never happen, when they didn't even know the whole story.

I guess valve are pretty much committed to their quality! I mean EA they runied one of the best racing games prpbably gng to ruin GTA as well!

Well they still make some good games. Sims lol

Dead Space, Burnout Paradise, and Army of Two (didn't like it but it sold like crazy).

o yea... and Command and Conquer is pretty good as well.

Thought of another one...Battlefield: Bad Company.

Madden, NHL, and NBA Live. ANd also don't they make Fifa (never played but a lot of people love it).

Need for Speed Series is alright but getting worse.

Well I was thinking that Burnout was but then I was like Dead Space isn't and that was the first game that popped in my mind.

Well every year people are saying the same thing about Madden but this year looks like it is going to be a totally new Madden game because it has a new engine they built. It looks way more realistic with actually more than 2 people being able to tackle you and now like 8 people can. It will be awesome.
