Resistance 2 problems

Does anyone own and play R2 often? If so, have you been having problems with it? I.e. game freezing, crashing, losing connection? For the past 2 weeks, this has been occurring fairly often, and I am wondering if it is my PS3 or if it is the game. I have played other games since, but not nearly the amount of time I spent on R2. Any clues as to what's happening?

So far i have put in about 30-40 hours on gameplay in to resistance 2 and did not had any issues , neither online or offline. I guess there might be some problem with ur disk ? do all games work fine on ur playstation 3 ?

I have been playing Eternal Sonata (due to being frustrated with R2) for about 2-3 hours straight, and no problems....so I guess it may be my disc >< grr oh well, I was getting a bit tired of the game anyways...

anycase , i guess u should return the game from where you brought it, there should be a gurantee along with the game 4 sure mate.

The online not working is nothing else but your internet connection.
This also happens to me very often, in fact i cant even play online games.
Try first restarting every internet device you have, then check it out.
if it still doesnt work let me know.

yeah depends on what your internet settings are ? sometimes the same thing hppens with me as well, cause sometimes internet binding happens a bit slowly.

I've been playing R2 a lot the last couple weeks, and I have not had any connection issues like you described. Might be your game.

Hmmm thanks for the feedback, I am suspecting it is my internet, because my macbook pro and pc are a little on the slow side of internet surfing. Perhaps I need to reset my settings

I guess if u are not able to do it, than you can share your network details with me and we can find a way out.
