UFC: Undisputed

Anyone pick this one up? I personally love it, except the periods between matches is really empty, except for sparring and training with other camps.

I just relized that some of the events take place at MadisonSquare Garden - unless there's another MSG, then this isn't accurate as MMA fighting is not allowed in New York state.

well the game was pretty hyped up b4 release with banners and all ! I dont know how the game performed commercially though ! heard that the game is alot of fun.

If ur a UFC or MMA fan, it's a must have IMO - the career mode is pretty in depth, yet between your scheduled fights it seems like there's something missing . They could have added some mini games to go along with the work out. Sparring & training with other fighting camps is cool, but training in stregth, speed, and cardio could be more interactive..
Game play over all though is pretty easy to pick up. Looking at the booklet and see how many different moves may be intimidating, but you'll find you pick it up rather quickly.

UFC is MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) fighting, so it's more like kickboxing. Fights can get pretty intense at times.

hmm kick boxing sounds pretty intresting to me.

Also - UFC stands for Ultimate Fighting Champoinship, which is the name of the fighting league. There are others around the country and I'm sure around the world. There's WEC, Elite XC (Elite XC actually folded a few months back). UFC is the biggest and most popular.

I haven't played it yet , but it looks good . And I have a friend that has it and he said that it was great . Although , I'm not interested in buying it .. I might give it a rent .

How can you get Fight Night for Free?

I played FN Rd 3 - was pretty good, I like the UFC better though - something about knocking out the other guy with a solid kick to the side of the head that does it for me

I was excited when this game came out cause im a major UFC fan. Then my friend got this game and it looked boring. MMA is action packed and very little dead spots unless there in a corner. This game is more like punch, kick, takedown, roll around on the ground for awile and try a reverse. I decided to give it a shot and its a okay game more of a fightnight hybrid.

does this game beats smackdown ?

It beats all the ones to date I think.
