Your First Ever Games Console

So what system do you thank when you look at your PS3/360 for getting you into gaming?


My first system was a Sega Megadrive (called in Genesis in US) and my favourite game for it was Toejam and Earl
It wasn't exactly mine either, more my brother's, but I played it a lot with him. Those were the days with no online multiplayer and more local multiplayer

My first console was an Atari 2600. This is the progression of consoles I've owned through the years ---


Atari 2600, NES, Sega Genesis, Playstation, Playstation 2, Playstation 3

My first gaming system was a Gameboy. My first console was a PlayStation.

Gameboy Advance...but when i was younger i was a PC gamer i just got the console with with PS2.....

My first was the atari as well but I didn't really get into it until I got a PS2.

Mine was also an Atari 2600. My list goes:
Atari 2600, Sega Master System, Sega Genesis, Super Nintendo, Sega Saturn, Playstation, Playstation 2, Xbox, Xbox360; Handhelds not included.

Atari followed by sega genesis ! oh good old days !

My first ever console was playStation

Fist console I ever played was the Atari(amazingly enough). I didn't get into gaming until I got a playstation 2, however.

actually after taking sega genesis, i brought Mortal Kombat and i was so involved in the game, that i almost lots my life dute to low blood pressure when i was playing against Motaro, my heart stopped for a minute ! Thereafter i took a 3 year retirement b4 again jumping on to sega.

Haha now thats a hardcore gamer - nearly dying when playing!

Well my first console was a gameboy, but I really didnt get into gaming untill the 64.

I actaully never brought up any nintendo console to date

I did when I was younger. I thought Nintendo was awesome. Then I was introduced to the real gaming world when my dad got a PS2.

My 1st console was that big unit that gave us PONG, and with just the flick of a switch we had, tennis, squash, & hockey - that was around 1978 - then shortly after was our Atari 2600

Not bad for a 38 year old !!!! Gaming that for that long doesn't make it a hobby - it's a lifestyle !!!! LOL!!!

yep for gaming is part of my life ! Its something bigger than hobby !

My wife kinda finds it pathetic that I'm almost 40 years old and still play video games. I just tell her to be thankful that I'm not in a bar every night of the week or using illegal drugs, and that at least I'm home with my family. My mom, who is n her mid 50's has a Nintendo Wii & a Xbox 360. So gaming runs in the family !!!

^^^ hehehehe ! Same here m 24 and my mom still says to me are u a 10 year old kid ! I reply to her atleast i am here in my home along with u ppl ! LOL

My girlfriend and my parents tell me it is a waste of time and a waste of money but you can't put a price on fun.
